Our Policy for Safe & Healthy Tanning
Our main Concern is Your Welfare. For this reason we have to be strict and follow the industry guidelines that govern good practice when using a Sunbed or any of the Equipment we have available.
Most people are able to use a Sunbed but there are exceptions.
If you answer YES to any of the questions below, you must NOT use a Sunbed:
Are you aged under 16?
Do you always burn in natural sunlight?
Do you have a medical condition that becomes worse in sunlight?
Do you have an excessive amount of moles and/or freckles?
Do you have a history of sunburn, particularly from childhood?
Do you have skin cancer or does any member of your immediate family have/had skin cancer?
Also, if you are on any medication or drugs, please check with your GP or pharmacist before using a Sunbed as certain drugs make the skin more sensitive to UV light. If you are pregnant, consult your GP before use.
So you’ve completed the above checklist and answered NO to all the questions and want to use a Sunbed because looking good and feeling great is what having a tan is all about and why 70% of us in the Ireland want one!

Sun Bed Tanning
It is recommended you leave at least 24 hours between each session.
The Maxim time you can be on a Sun Bed is 9 minutes per session.
You must be over 16 and have an up-to-date relevant ID - which may be asked for.
Yes. It is recommended that you use goggles or i-stickers to protect your eyes.
Using a lotion is recommended as moisturised skin will tan faster and last longer.
Some of the positive effects of Sunbeds are:
1. It can treat some skin disorders.
2. It can also help prevent osteoporosis.
3. Lesson the symptoms of depression.
SunFX Spray Tanning
Our exclusive SunFX Solution is regarded the world over as one of the finest. The unique combination of natural bronzers, highly purified water (aqua) and the approved cosmetic tanning agent DHA produce a truly remarkable tanning result. Our product is unique and clients can be assured that it contains no alcohol, oils, perfumes, parabans or artificial preservatives. Most salons will have on hand nose and plugs and eye protection should any clients feel a preference for the use of these.
Most people can expect their SunFX tan to last for up to 5 to 7 days depending upon your skin type and preparation. Some may even keep their tan for up to 10 days. Regular moisturising with one of our unique SunFX tan extenders will extend the tan's life greatly.
SunFX will, on nearly all skin types, provide an impressive and natural looking tan. In fact in many instances, the result can be superior to sun and solarium exposure
SunFx recommends you cleanse and exfoliate your body with SunFX Body Polish and use our luxurious SunFX Body Wash. This will ensure the best possible result from your spray tan by eliminating the top layers of dry and dead skin. It is also best to avoid the use of deodorants and moisturisers that may inhibit the effectiveness of the SunFX tanning solution.
